All bee hotels within this range are 20cm and 25cm in length and manufactured from untreated pine with colourful pitched roofs. They have multiple holes of different sized bees based on extensive research into the size of holes preferred by certain species of solitary bees.

All Hotels come with a brass hook for hanging and they are beautifully packaged including an information brochure to learn more. They come is various fun colours.

Why varying holes? Solitary bees have different preferences:

• 3–6mm: Smaller mason bees, small leafcutters
• 6–10mm: Most common mason bees (Osmia), blue orchard bees
• 10–15mm+: Larger leafcutters, some resin bees
• A few bigger holes (up to 20–25mm) can attract larger species or even beneficial wasps
